Consequences of DUI's on naturalization and green card

Does lay-off affect natutralization?

In this economy, I am being asked fairly frequently what happens to my naturalization if I get laid off.

Generally speaking, nothing. You should be fine. Mere lay off has no bearing on Naturalization.

The question asked on our forums was:

Foreclosure and immigration status

H-1 related I-94 issue
