My husband and I are currently living in england - I am American and he's English. He is planning to immigrate to America and I need to fill out a Affidavit of support (form I-864).

I haven't been filing US tax returns for these years while living here b/c I wasn't aware that I needed to. Does anyone know what I do now that I need to show my tax returns for this form when I haven't filed?!

I have been working in the UK, but not under an American business - do I just show proof of wages?!?

If you have any knowledge of this - please HELP asap!!!

You can check out at the US Embasssy in London for IRS services:
http://www.usembassy.org.uk/irs/irswho.htm
Read carefully the I-864 form, you not only must be a US citizen, you need to have a residency in the US (unless you are living abroad but can show that your main residence was within the US and its posessions/territories).
By the way even the visa petitions and all that you can go to the US Embassy for more FAQ's.
Good luck,
