My interview was on Aug 28 in garden city, everything was Ok but i was missing
The I-485 supplemental form with the 1000 dollar money order.
I had to get back to Manhattan, get the form stamped pay the fee and then take it back to garden city.

On sep 11:rolleyes: I got the email informing me that the welcome letter was in the mail, And another Today stating "Card production ordered".
So after 10 years of being unable to get married and take a vacation out of
the States Oh .. and stalking my mailman I'm Free!!!!.

first on my agenda, surprise visit to My Dad it's been so long lets see if he
can pick out his 33 year old daughter sitting across from him :D It's been 17 years since i last saw him.

I'll still be here on this forum. My advice to all of you is keep calling, use your congressman or woman they really do help. and when you feel like you're losing it type your thoughts in the search of this forum (that helps too. )
And remember this to shall pass

Big, Big Congratulations!!!

Your message made my eyes tear up. I also just got my Permanent Resident status approved last Monday and it also says "card production ordered" on the USCIS website. I'm 31 and for me, it's been 11 years of continuous presence in the US without being able to get out. I'm super excited for you, as I am excited for myself. My agenda is to save up money so I can see my family again. My dad took me to the airport coming here in 1996, that was the last time I saw him and my other siblings (one is here).

Thank you
The I 485 supplemental form says that it needs to be filled with the I-485.
At first I thought it did not apply to me because I had my I-94 but he said no
I needed it together with the $1000 money order..
I'm just happy it's over. Hopefully I'll get the card today so i can book a flight for November, So..... I'm back to stalking my mailman for one last time.

Congrajulations to you... I feel so happy for you that your wait is over. have a good trip.

I have a similar wait like that of your. 10 years... But the common thing is that your and my interview dates are the same , Aug 28th :-) Garden City, Maybe we have crossed each other. What time was your interview ?

But my case is pending and am lookinf forward to see that welcome letter. Maybe my stalking time is not over yet.

Good Wishes for your trip.

10/31/07: Card production Ordered :-)

Just curious, were you illegally present in the US that you haven't seen your father in 17 years?

Congrats on the GC :)

Congratulations! I am so excited for you. What a thrill it must be to finally see your family!

We're lucky enough that my husband sees his family every other weekend when they come to the US to visit. I can't imagine he'd be able to handle waiting 17 years. Wow.

I hope you enjoy your trip & Hopefully your card came today!
