My son and I are Canadian citizens, born and raised. We've already submitted the paperwork, through my husband... and my ex husband has decided to be a jerk and says he won't allow me to make my son a full US citizen. How can he do that?? He's only doing that to be mean because I'm happy and he's not (this man hasn't called his child in months) , I have legal custody, and I was told my son will never lose his canadian citizenship. green card or not. Is this true?

That's interesting. You should ask him the same question - my understanding is that if you naturalize, your child automatically does so too.
