Hey guys,i'm gathering documents that proves my relationship with my wife.I have most of the usual docs.Main thing we don't have is a lease/mortgage,because at the moment we are staying with her aunt until we get our appartment.Therefore would an affidavit from her aunt be sufficient(we don't pay rent either,loving in-law:))...Regarding the affidavit,can my in-laws/friends just write/type it up and sign it,or does it have to be notarized?

I would get an agreement/affidavit from your aunt. Notarized.

Thanks alot...So they can just write it up and sign it in front of a notary public? I think somewhere I read that they have to include their name,address,place of birth,and relationship to the petitioner/beneficiary.Is that all that's required?

I do not think so, but ask your notary.
