My wife and I are filing concurrently (i-130, g-325a, i-485, i765, i-864).
We believe we need to send ALL documents TOGETHER to the Chicago lock box location. Is this correct?

Also, form i-130 asks (question 22) which office you will applying to. Is that the Chicago lock box location or the local branch? We reside in N.H.

Thank you.

Chicago Lockbox. To send all forms.

Form i-130, question 22, put your local USCIS office.

In regards to question 22, i-130 I agree that our local office would make more sence. We called USCIS today and the person told us to use the Chicago office address but this person did not seem to know what was going on. We are nervous that our case could be delayed if the wrong address is used.

Just to clarify are you suggesting by "local" we use the main office that services our state (NH) which is the Vermont USCIS or the local, local office within our state (Manchester, NH)?

Thanks again.

Put your zip code here: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=LO

it will tell you what your "local" office will be... even if it is 3 hours away :p

As far as USCIS costumer service, it is a hit and miss, 50/50 chance to call them and get accurate information. Most of the times, they are only reading from a script.

Denmark,

Line 22 on form has to be your local office as Prae suggested. NOT the Chicago Lockbox facility. "lockbox" should be a hint :)

Prae - Costumer :p
According to Miriam-Webster:
1 : one that deals in or makes costumes
2 : an upright stand with hooks or pegs on which to hang clothes

Surely, you did not mean that USCIS would be dealing with making costumes for Denmark :p you are slipping from your lofty standards
I bet js360 will have a blast now :)

My vote for your already closed POLL - GO
