Received FP notice for my wife's I-765 (EAD card) application. The FP is scheduled for July 17th. I happened to be in town today for the long wknd and luckily happened to find this FP notice in the mail. We will be leaving out of town on Mon morning & don't plan to be back until the last week of July. Can we try to get her FP done on Saturday July 5th (12 days before actual apptt date)? Will they entertain us? Any thoughts, please share.
Thanks

Any luck on your walk-in attempt?

I might need to do the same thing. Otherwise, I'd have to reschedule which will probably delay it even more.

Yes, it worked out. I just sent you a detailed response at your other post.

Hi there,
I had two walk-in FPs ahead of the scheduled time, moreover the second one was at a different than stated on FP letter ASC (the 1st ASC messed up with my FPs intentionally, so I didn't want to take the chances). After 10 mins of explaining the situation to the head of ASC everything went smoothely. It was NYC greater area ASCs.
Since then - just waiting, there is no rush at VSC ...
