Came the US under the F-1 student visa. The school offers 10 hours for an assistantship. I am applying the AOS process (under the family based) and have had the EAD. The ISO said if using the EAD for another off campus employment, then abandoning the F-1 status.
Questions:
1. Is that state correct?
2. If not, how many hours could I work off campus employment while maintaining the F-1 status?
