Bank accounts question

Hello
I am sponsoring my parents.
I have
a) a separate bank acct (X Amount)
b) a joint acct with my spouse. (Y Amount)
I got bank letters from both these banks.
Now, to write total balance in I-134, should I add 50% of Y amount from spouse's account, or 100% from spouse's account with my X amount. Please advise at the earliest.

Either way it is fine. Normally when you submit your emloyment letter they do not go into that kind of detail.

Even nominal balance in the account is fine.
