affidavit of birth mistake

Hello
I just noticed that my mothers name has been misspelled in my affidavit of birth . so please let me know if it will suffice if i just produce a notarised copy of my 10th certificate and not submit the affidavit, please help asap.

Affidavit is a self declaration and look silly to explain the difference. Get a new birth affidavit from whereever you got the
first one.

Make sure that they match the spelling on the last page of your
passport.

Smack the person who wrote the affidavit and ask him for money back if he charged you for it. Redo it rightly.
