is chennai asking for the original birth certificate or affidavit of birth ? please let me know. can I just enclose my 10th std certificate for chennai consulate. thanks spk2003

spk2003 grab all documents which has your birthdate . Take photo copy of all ( use the technique i mentioned before if your birthdate is very lightly written on original). Then attest all the papers. Rent a small pickup , load the docs and then drive to the Chennai consulate. No matter what the officers demand you will always have it at your disposal in the back of your pickup ;)
